Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • Orange and black icing
  • Candy eyes
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

Preparing the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, water, vanilla extract, almond extract, and vegetable oil until a smooth batter forms. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely before continuing.

Making the Cake Pops

Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into a large bowl. Add in the white chocolate chips and mix together until the chips are evenly distributed. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, shape the cake mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball, then place the baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes. This will help the cake pops hold their shape when dipped in the chocolate.

Melt the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Once the chips are completely melted, stir in the milk and mix until smooth. Dip each cake pop into the white chocolate, covering it completely, and place them back on the baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Decorate the Cake Pops

Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Dip the tip of each cake pop into the melted chocolate, then press two candy eyes into the top. Finally, use the orange and black icing to create a carrot nose and coal buttons for each snowman.

Enjoy!

Your Snowman Cake Pops are now ready to enjoy! You can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. They also make great gifts for friends and family during the holidays. So, next time you're looking for a fun and tasty treat to enjoy this winter season, give these Snowman Cake Pops a try!
